Learn to make your own breathable cover for orchids, and they will bloom non-stop without spending a penny

Orchids are noble and elegant, and they are a flower that many people love very much. When they bloom, they are even more delightful, making you want to keep one at home. But when growing orchids, the thing to pay attention to is "air." If you want orchids to grow well, supplementing air is very important. An experienced flower friend introduced me to a method for increasing the breathability of orchids. It is especially useful and makes orchids grow rapidly.
1. When caring for orchids, growing "air" is very important
When growing orchids, one point very worth noting is to pay attention to the air circulation in the surrounding environment where they live. Air circulation around the environment is very important, but what I especially want to say here is that you should not only pay special attention to ventilation in the external environment, but also to the air permeability of the soil. Usually, when growing orchids, you should pay attention to the breathability of the soil.
2. Make your own breathable cover to make orchid roots strong and thick
Usually when growing orchids, people choose flower pots with holes at the bottom and relatively good breathability, but if you make a "drainage and breathable cover" yourself, it will make the orchid soil more breathable, and the orchid roots will grow stronger and thicker, which is what allows the orchids to grow better.
The method is also very simple. Prepare a pair of scissors and a plastic bottle. Use the scissors to cut off two-thirds of the plastic bottle. Cut the remaining one-third into four corners to use as supports. Then drill some holes in the bottom of the plastic bottle to increase breathability. Place the remaining one-third of the prepared plastic bottle at the bottom of the pot. In this way, after adding potting soil, the breathability will be much better.
The benefits of making a breathable cover
It can keep the holes in the potting soil from being blocked by the growing medium, allowing the root system to breathe better and making the orchid root system more breathable, thereby achieving the goal of root care. Only then will the roots grow thicker and stronger, and thus grow better.
