Life is full of creativity everywhere. Not only green plants can be grown hydroponically - some friends put the tops of vegetables they often eat at home into glass cups, grow them in water, and within a few days they sprout, quickly turning into beautiful potted plants.

1. Onion tops

An onion from home grown hydroponically in a glass jar is also especially beautiful. First peel off the outer skin of the onion, then find a clear glass cup whose rim is just wide enough to hold the onion without letting it fall through. During the first week, make sure to change the onion's water every day, and soon roots will grow from the bottom of the onion.

2. Carrot tops

Carrot tops are usually cut off and not eaten, but it is a pity to throw them away - put them in water and they can grow into a beautiful potted plant!

Place the carrot with its cut side facing down in a small dish with a shallow layer of water. After about 7 days, leaves will grow from the top. With a little trimming afterwards, it becomes a beautiful little potted plant that can be placed anywhere in the home.

3. Celery heads

A celery head placed in a clear cup grows roots fairly quickly. First wash the root end of the celery, find a clear glass jar and add water, then put the celery head in and give it plenty of sunlight. Change the water often before roots form; once roots have grown, you only need to add water. Within a few days, tender green little leaves will sprout. Placed on a desk or coffee table for viewing, it has a uniquely fresh charm.

Besides this small celery, there is also the celery head (as shown in the picture below). Its head is larger, and when soaked in water it sprouts and grows leaves beautifully too.
