Potted flowers often just won't grow well. Besides careful care, you also need to give them some extra material now and then. For example, don't throw away these few types of trash; pick them back up to grow flowers, and the effect is great - vibrant flowers, green leaves, and every pot bursting with growth.

1. Fruit peels

The watermelon rinds, grape peels, citrus peels, mango peels and other fruit peels you normally eat - don't throw them away after eating. These fruit peels are all great composting materials, have a certain amount of nutrients, and can also improve the soil and encourage plants to bloom better.

The method is to cut the peels into small pieces, mix them into the soil, then water, then cover the flower pot with a plastic bag - no need to seal it. In summer with high temperatures, generally only about 2 months are needed for fermentation to complete. 2. Tea leaves residue

Tea residue is a great composting material, but if the amount is too small it's hard to work with. You can collect the tea residue left over from drinking tea, and use it once you have more.

The method is to put the tea residue into a plastic bucket, then add water and stir. After stirring, seal it to ferment, and after 3-5 months you can mix it into the soil as fertilizer to grow flowers. 3. Leftover bones

Every now and then your family eats meat, and then some bones are left over, such as duck feet, chicken legs, pork ribs, etc. Usually after eating the meat the bare bones are just thrown away. Actually, these are also great things for growing flowers - bones contain phosphorus, and if used well they are a very good natural fertilizer.

The method is to first wash the bits of meat off the bones with clean water, then soak them for a day, changing the water several times, to soak out the salt inside. Then you can put them in a pressure cooker and cook under pressure for 20-30 minutes. After the bones are crushed, scoop them out and drain, then after drying in the sun, crush them into powder, and they can be mixed directly into the soil to grow flowers.

After these 3 types of trash residue are given a little processing, using them to grow flowers is no worse than flower fertilizer - green leaves and vibrant flowers in pots depend on them.
