The most common problem with succulents is etiolation. If your succulents are facing etiolation, watering is one cause, and insufficient light is another. Don't be too delicate with your plants - when they need to be toughened up, place them outdoors appropriately to harden them. Put lightweight stones (pumice) underneath the succulents to provide aeration, then lay a layer of quartz sand small pebbles on top

Succulents are very drought-tolerant, so there's no need to water too frequently. Reduce the watering frequency and leave some dry space in the soil, which is good for root respiration. Growing flowers is also a skill. If you don't really know how to grow flowers, you can start with some easy plants, such as clivias and ball cacti - these are relatively easy to care for

When growing flowers, not all of them should be placed on the balcony. Many flowers are not suited to strong light, and some are suited to cool indoor spots. The most important thing is watering. In some areas the water is highly alkaline, so it needs to be left standing for three or four days before use. Soil in the north has poor nutrients, so you can water flowers with tea water to increase the soil's nutrients
