Few people know wild orchids, see if there are any near your home

Some gardening friends recently said they dug up orchids from the wild, but they were not quite the same as those bought at the flower market. In fact, those are wild orchids of the Orchidaceae family, and the ones below are too.
Cypripedium yunnanense
The plants of Cypripedium yunnanense are especially tall, roughly between 20-37 cm, with relatively small flowers that are brightly colored and very varied.
Cypripedium yunnanense generally grows on the mid-slope valley walls above deep mountains and secluded valleys, and can also be seen on hillsides or in the shade beneath woodland. Its optimal growing temperature is between 15-30°C.
Pleione chunii (yellow-flowered Pleione)
The petals of Pleione chunii look very much like sickles. The flowers are generally yellow, pale yellow or yellowish-white, with red or brown spots on the lip.
A cool, ventilated, semi-shaded environment is what it likes most. It prefers loose, breathable, well-drained fern roots or humus soil. In winter, a temperature of 1-5°C is most suitable.
Nothodoritis zhejiangensis (elephant-trunk orchid)
Nothodoritis zhejiangensis is a dwarf plant. Its flowers are very thin in texture and have no fragrance. The floral bracts are yellow-green and lanceolate in shape.
Vanda alpina (white-flowered Vanda)
The flowers of Vanda alpina are large, white, and carry a fragrance. Its petals are slightly recurved, with wavy edges, and are especially beautiful.
It likes a humid environment, prefers shade, and avoids direct sunlight. Keep the air circulating as usual. The optimal growing temperature is between 15-30°C. Cultivating it in humus-rich sandy soil is most suitable.
Spiranthes sinensis (Chinese spiranthes)
The plants of Spiranthes sinensis are also quite tall, generally between 13-30 cm. Its flowers grow very densely, and the petals are oblong-rhombic, very distinctive.
It has a very wide distribution range, generally growing on hillsides, in shrub thickets, or on riverbank mudflats and meadows at an altitude of 200-3400 li, and it can be found in many places in China.
Cephalanthera longifolia (sword-leaved helleborine)
The plants of Cephalanthera longifolia are about 20-47 cm tall. The flowers are white, and its petals are obovate. After the flowers bloom, it is very spectacular.
It is generally found beneath woodland or in shrub thickets at an altitude of 1000-3300 li, and can also be seen in grassy areas or beside ditches. It can also be seen in southern Shanxi, southern Shaanxi and other places.
Many people like orchids, but few know about wild orchids. Take a quick look and see what variety your orchid at home is.
