My terrace garden. I didn't study design. For arranging the plants and flowers, one part is learning from everyone online as usual, and the other part is just going with my own feelings. It was all built by little old me!

The green-focused herbs also need to be paired with flowers of various colors to add the finishing touch to the terrace.

Take a look at the overall effect of the terrace

Some of the flowers really were bought just to be featured in a magazine, but they're all growing very well now. The fountain grass has already grown from the 30-something cm it was when bought to almost one meter, and the phlox is already on its third wave of blooms.

Red fountain grass, a very beautiful ornamental grass, absolutely eye-catching when planted in a garden, and it grows very fast. It has already outgrown its pot.

Perennial phlox, 'Miss Holland', a highly recommended variety, cold-resistant and drought-resistant, and it can grow into a big clump in just a few years. The big flower balls made up of small white flowers are very beautiful, and it is already on its third wave of blooms since the start of summer.

Small-flowered coreopsis. Unlike common coreopsis, this small-flowered variety has many flowers and brilliant colors, and it is also perennial.

Plumbago is of course still the star of the garden, blooming all the way from summer into autumn, and of course there are also the ever-tireless salvia and dianthus.

Some other plants and flowers: Susan, which slept through a whole summer, has finally opened her black eyes again, and the monkey flower has also grown enough to fill its pot. Beautiful small-flowered zinnia.

Double petunia is a good comrade. Although its plant shape is very ugly, its waves of flowers have never stopped.

The morning glory grew by itself. In spring I originally wanted to pull it out, but my soft-heartedness at the time has now brought beautiful rewards.

Some small garden ornaments

A little white rabbit among the dianthus

A little person by the pot edge

The hardworking big ceramic turtle, carrying on its back a kind of sedum, also called 'Yangxin Cai'.

A small galvanized bucket

The three musketeers of little grass-head figures

And the garden pets. Here are two close-ups, my little Mimi and the little rabbit.

My cat always likes to eat fountain grass. As for the others, it's mostly fine, it basically doesn't bite them. The rabbit bites everything, so I don't dare let it out.

The terrace is rather long and narrow, and it is divided by Roman columns, so it's not easy to photograph a full panorama!
