At present, most of China's agricultural farmland has developed serious continuous cropping problems due to many years of continuous cropping, causing severe impacts on every aspect of crop production and making it a problem that farmers everywhere must solve to achieve high-quality, high yields!

What harm does continuous cropping cause?

1. Soil-borne diseases run rampant, with severe crop seedling death and root rot, and root rot disease, Fusarium wilt and other diseases breaking out repeatedly.

2. Soil nematode disease occurs frequently, causing large yield reductions in crops, or even total crop failure.

3. Crop roots and stems are thin and weak, disease resistance is poor, flowering and fruit setting are reduced, and yields decline.

Why does continuous cropping occur?

1. Long-term application of chemical fertilizers and pesticides leaves large amounts of insoluble residues, leading to soil acidification, compaction, salinization and so on; crops cannot breathe properly, which naturally affects the absorption and use of nutrients and water.

2. Because the land is planted year after year, various pathogens and insect eggs gradually accumulate; added to the toxins produced by crop autotoxicity, harmful bacteria in the soil spread unchecked, beneficial bacteria are not replenished in time, and pest and disease damage becomes more and more serious.

3. Long-term cultivation of the same crop takes up only certain nutrients, causing a major deficiency of those nutrient elements in the soil.

How can the continuous cropping problem be solved?

Step one: Before planting, deep-plow the soil, remove crop residues, and use a soil fumigant to disinfect and kill insects.

Step two: Apply microbial inoculants to supplement the content of beneficial bacteria, curb the occurrence and development of pathogenic bacteria, and at the same time improve soil structure, break up compaction, and enhance the soil's water- and fertilizer-holding capacity, so that crops grow robustly and their resistance increases.

Step three: Reasonably increase the application of organic fertilizer to supplement the nutrient elements crops must have, further build up soil fertility, and solve the harm of continuous cropping in every way.
