Christmas cactus cuttings have their tricks: fast rooting, crazy leaf growth, and nonstop blooms

What I'm teaching you today is that with one leaf and one cup of water, you can get a Christmas cactus to root quickly and its leaves to grow like crazy. First take a healthy Christmas cactus leaf, cut off about 10 cm, then put the cut end in a cool, shady place to let the wound dry, put the bottom of the leaf in water to soak so the water just supports the Christmas cactus stem, and place the cup in a bright spot where it won't get direct sunlight, at a temperature of around 15°C
Change the water once every two days during the first days of rooting. If you want the Christmas cactus to root quickly, you must use rainwater, then purified water; if using tap water, it must be left to sit for three days before use. This way the Christmas cactus will root quickly. Transplant the rooted Christmas cactus into a pot, or you can continue growing it in water. If you transplant it into a pot, you need to sterilize the soil
Christmas cactus likes a humid and semi-shady environment. In summer, avoid harsh sun and rain; in winter, keep it warm with plenty of sunlight. Christmas cactus is a short-day plant, so it only buds and blooms under short-day conditions. Spring and autumn are the peak growing seasons for Christmas cactus, so keep the soil moist, neither too dry nor too wet
