How should you water bougainvillea in summer? Learn the correct watering method

Bougainvillea, also called triangle flower or paper flower, has a variety of flower colors and is a rather beautiful ornamental flowering plant. Bougainvillea likes warm, humid conditions and should be cared for in a spot with plenty of light.
Bougainvillea is a southern flower. If you want bougainvillea to bloom more, especially when grown in the north, you need to do a good job of water control and pruning. In early summer, appropriately increasing the amount of watering helps the growth of branches and leaves. After the growth period, reduce the amount of watering, which helps its flower buds grow.
Watering too much easily causes the plant to grow leggy, fail to bloom, and drop leaves and flowers. Too much standing water can also cause root rot and death of the plant.
There is a lot of rain in summer, so bougainvillea grown outdoors needs to be protected from rain. When watering, wait until the soil in the pot has dried out completely before watering.
