While caring for a money tree, you may run into problems like yellowing leaves and root rot. These are all caused by improper care, and the wrong placement of the money tree can bring about these issues. Let's take a look below at where the money tree should be placed for good growth.

The money tree is a light-loving plant. If it is kept for a long time in a spot without light and with poor ventilation, water evaporates with difficulty, which leads to root rot, and the leaves turn yellow and lose their luster.

Where should the money tree be placed?

(1). In summer it cannot be exposed to direct blazing sun, or the leaves are easily scorched and develop yellow spots, so proper shading is needed at this time. From June to September, be sure to provide shading, and simply keep it in a living room with scattered light, or in a semi-shaded environment for care. Otherwise, the intense summer sunlight is bad for the plant's growth, and the leaf edges will become scorched and withered.

(2). In the other three seasons, simply keep it in a spot with direct light and good ventilation for care.

(3). In winter, besides maintaining light, pay attention to temperature as well. It cannot be kept outdoors for care, since low temperatures will cause the plant to die. Move it indoors in time, and keep it on a closed south-facing balcony or windowsill at home. Remember, it must be closed, because at this time the money tree cannot be exposed to cold wind, which easily makes the leaves dry out, turn yellow and drop.
