1. Soil

2. Climate
The ping-pong chrysanthemum is a short-day plant and prefers a cool climate. This plant is relatively cold-tolerant, with an optimum growing temperature of 18 to 21°C. It carries out vegetative growth under long-day conditions of 14.5 hours per day, and more than 12 hours of darkness per day with a night temperature of 10°C is suitable for flower bud development.
3. Water
The underground rhizome of the ping-pong chrysanthemum is drought-tolerant and is most averse to waterlogging. Watering should follow the principle of "rather dry than wet", and it is best to water when the soil is dry and stop when it is moist.
4. Light
Potted ping-pong chrysanthemums should be given appropriate management measures such as rotating and spacing the pots, to avoid light and other factors affecting the growth and development of the potted chrysanthemum.
5. Fertilizing
The ping-pong chrysanthemum needs sufficient organic fertilizer for growth (generally applied as a base fertilizer). Top dressing is mainly nitrogen fertilizer, and can be combined with some phosphorus and potassium fertilizers and trace element fertilizers.
6. Pests and diseases
In environments with high air humidity, insufficient light, poor ventilation and large day-night temperature differences, the ping-pong chrysanthemum is prone to pests and diseases such as powdery mildew, brown spot, aphids and mites.
