Hydroponic plants always wilting in summer? Just add a little of this and they'll grow like crazy

More and more people like growing plants hydroponically - coin grass, lucky bamboo, spider plants... They are relatively simple and convenient to care for, and they are also very neat, with higher ornamental value.
But some flower lovers find that their own hydroponic plants keep wilting, with leaves turning yellow and so on. Today Hua'er will introduce some care tips to everyone - toss a little "of it" into the hydroponic bottle, and they will grow like crazy.
1. Coin grass
Coin grass has relatively higher requirements for water quality, and its absorption capacity is not very strong. Changing the water frequently will affect its growth, while changing the water too slowly can easily cause root rot. So the only way to ease this is by changing the water quality. You can add a few pieces of activated charcoal to the hydroponic bottle to adsorb some impurities in the water. Depending on the size of the hydroponic bottle, generally 3-5 pieces are enough. When changing the water, you need to wash the hydroponic bottle and put in new activated charcoal.
2. Lucky bamboo
Lucky bamboo needs a lot of iron. When iron is insufficient, iron-deficiency yellow leaves and yellow stems will appear, making the plant wilt and reducing its ornamental value. You can put 1-2 rusty iron nails or pieces of iron into the hydroponic bottle to provide it with enough iron, making the leaves of lucky bamboo more emerald green and glossy.
3. Spider plant
During the growing period, the roots of spider plants breathe very quickly, and the oxygen in the hydroponic bottle is often not enough to supply them, causing difficulty in root respiration, which leads to wilting leaves, yellow leaves, and so on. When changing the water, add some hydrogen peroxide to increase the oxygen content in the water, so that spider plants can breathe better and grow faster.
4. Asparagus fern
In hydroponics, asparagus fern often develops black roots, root rot, and similar problems, affecting the normal growth of the plant. Potassium permanganate can disinfect the water quality and can effectively prevent asparagus fern from developing root rot and yellow leaves. Before adding water for asparagus fern, dilute potassium permanganate first, then pour it directly into the hydroponic bottle.
5. Snake plant
Snake plants have many roots. When the water quality is poor, black roots, root rot, and similar problems will occur, and the leaves will also wilt and become soft. Aspirin has a bactericidal effect and can effectively prevent the roots from turning black and rotting.
Grind aspirin into powder. Every month before adding water, first put a little powder into the water, shake well, and let it sit for about half an hour. After it fully dissolves, pour it into the hydroponic bottle.
That's all for hydroponic care. If flower lovers have other additions, you can share them with everyone in the comment section below. If you want to learn more about flower-growing knowledge, you can follow Huajianke!
