Plants that grow more vigorously the more they are exposed to the sun, and still thrive in summer

Summer is here, and the time when flowers are put to the test has arrived. Many flowers are prone to dying when exposed to strong light, so providing proper shade for plants in summer has become a top priority. However, this is not always the case - many flowers also like ample sunlight, and the more sun they get, the better they grow and the more they bloom.
1. Moss rose (Portulaca grandiflora)
Moss rose loves sunlight very much. Its flowers open when they see the sun and close in the morning and evening or on cloudy days. It greatly enjoys a warm environment with ample sunlight. Moss rose is extremely tolerant of poor soil and can adapt to ordinary soil. It can self-seed and reproduce. As long as ample sunlight is ensured, the more vigorously it grows and the more it blooms.
2. Baby's breath (Gypsophila paniculata)
Baby's breath is the most common cut flower material. Its flowers are white with a slight fragrance, quite beautiful, and of high ornamental value, often used as an accessory in flower arrangements. Baby's breath has very strong vitality and a great need for sunlight. The stronger the light, the more it blooms; the weaker the light, the less it blooms. In summer, care should include enhanced ventilation and keeping the potting soil moist.
3. Petunia
Petunia has a relatively high demand for sunlight and needs ample light during its growing period so that it can bloom normally. The more sun it gets, the more it blooms. Petunia likes a warm environment with ample sunlight. Summer is its peak growing season, and it needs sufficient water, especially in high-temperature seasons. It should be watered in the morning and evening to keep the potting soil moist.
4. Blue snowflower (Plumbago auriculata)
Blue snowflower likes sunlight, and only with ample light can it bloom more. When watering normally, water thoroughly, and the soil surface should not be too wet; it needs to be kept on the drier side. Blue snowflower grows robustly and is heat-tolerant, relatively tolerant of high-temperature and high-humidity environments, has few pests and diseases, is easy to manage, and has a relatively long ornamental period. Its leaves are emerald green and its flowers are elegant and light-colored, giving people a cool feeling in summer.
