After more than a month of outdoor growing, the succulents are doing their utmost to live up to this beautiful springtime. With all the succulents working so hard, how can I, as their owner, remain indifferent? I still have to keep telling the succulent stories.

The first to appear is still the beauty queen of my home, Red Crane!

Under the sunlight, she is enviable, with a face blooming as warmly as a flower!

The 3:30 pm sunlight gently sprinkles over her. Like a magician, it gives the still, black-and-white world vividness, liveliness and brilliant color.

Like a pitch-black amusement park at midnight opening its music box, entering a gorgeous, spinning magical world!

You passed by a place called me, just as pear blossoms drifted down one by one in the wind. I watched you grow from a green little girl into an enviable fairy.

I said: "You will stay with me, right? Ten or eight years would be even better, three or five years is fine too." What I truly crave is actually a lifetime.

You nodded and said: "This lifetime I will be with you, not a passerby. If we must part, I will remember you, but you must not forget me."

The next three photos were taken on June 6. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate; it was cloudy, so they did not turn out very well. I will take nicer photos when the weather is good.

Another month has passed, and Red Crane has become even more beautiful. With her this beautiful, how could I not love her?

In the autumn of 2016, I had just entered the hobby. I got her when I was a total beginner and knew nothing, only that I should use gritty soil. She has stayed healthy the whole time and grown into such a beautiful girl.

She is just that impressive. What can I do about it?

Actually, I feel a bit scared now, because this spring I newly acquired Echeveria 'Yudie' and Berkeley Sunshine, and I thought they had both settled in. After two months of growing them, they still rotted and died the past couple of days. It was because I did not thoroughly trim the roots. Berkeley Sunshine was bought with the pot, and I was afraid it would not settle in if I took it out to trim the roots. I want to cry for a while.

I really want to thank heaven, thank the earth, and thank fate for letting me meet Red Crane!

Analyzing it now, the first reason may be luck; the second is that I got her at a good time. After passing through autumn, winter and spring, by the time summer came her root system had already grown well; the third is that the climate in our Northeast is relatively good, cool and dry. The hot, humid weather lasts only a little over a month, and once the temperature drops, they are cared for indoors. Even if their condition is a bit poor, keeping them alive is no problem.

The first-time colored, fairy-beautiful Cailu, perhaps Seaside Grey.

In the advanced stage, I fell in love with the Echeveria elegans group, especially the crinkled-leaf ones. I feel this is a group with an innate fairy aura. When I bought it, the seller told me it was called Cailu. Now I cannot tell it apart from Seaside Grey.

This kind of pink, with a floating fairy aura, absolutely has the temperament of a high immortal! Which beauty is she among the four seas and eight wildernesses? Even if she is just a middling beauty, she is both beautiful and not likely to provoke jealousy, haha!

And this Cailu, she has only just shed her green base color.

What they said actually makes a lot of sense. As their owner, I did not put myself in their shoes. This owner's consistent principle is: whoever looks good is the one I like!

Reason tells me I am wrong! I should not be a lustful person! I should treat every succulent with fairness and justice! But emotionally, after looking at their photos, I unconsciously posted the high immortal's beautiful photos again, and instantly I was full of energy! Ah, comfortable!

Lazy Sheep and the red-hot Tang Yin

A very comedic combination. Every time I see it, I feel it is very lively. The sun blinks at me, the birds sing to me. I am a little sprite who works hard and is not clingy, haha.
