When it comes to growing flowers, many flower lovers start to worry. Huahua, you've recommended so many flowers, but my balcony at home is too small and there's simply no room to grow them. What should I do? Don't worry! Today Huahua is going to teach everyone how to make a vertical flower rack, so you can grow more flowers in limited space!

Steps:

1. Prepare a PVC pipe and drill holes

Go to the hardware market and buy a PVC pipe about 110cm long and about 7cm in diameter.

2. Drill holes

Drill holes in the PVC pipe at intervals of 20cm. If you want to make it two-sided, drill 2 holes; if you want four sides, drill 4 holes. Today we're drilling 4 holes, so that the 2 holes at the front and back and the 2 holes at the left and right are not on the same horizontal plane.

3. Bend the wire

Bend the wire you prepared in advance into rings. The diameter of the bent rings depends on the size of your flower pots at home. Don't use wire that is too thin, or it will deform easily.

4. Insert the rings into the PVC pipe

Insert the bent rings into the PVC pipe one by one. The protruding parts should pass out through the holes and be bent downward, then tie them tightly with something like wire to keep the rings from wobbling.

5. Fix the PVC pipe

Seal the bottom of the PVC pipe, first pour in about 1/4 sand, insert it into a flower pot, and after filling with soil let the soil dry out, so it will be more secure.

If you have a discarded clothes rack base at home, you can also fix the PVC pipe onto the base of a triangular clothes rack. This also increases stability and prevents the pipe from tilting after flower pots are placed on it.

6. Fix the PVC pipe

In this way, a vertical flower rack is done! Put the flower pots you want to place on it one by one, and you're all finished! However, you need to rotate it every few days to prevent the flowers from receiving uneven light.

Steps:

1. Preparation

PVC pipe

If some flower lovers don't have wire at home, they can also make it directly with a PVC pipe. First prepare a PVC pipe at least 1m long.

2. Mark lines and saw open

Mark lines on the PVC pipe at intervals of 10cm, then use a saw to cut open the marked parts.

3. Heat over fire and press

After sawing, heat it slightly over a fire, then take another pipe and press downward along the sawed openings, so that the sawed parts form grooves.

4. Seal the bottom

Completely seal the bottom of the PVC pipe, and a vertical flower rack is done!

5. Fill with soil and plant vegetables or flowers

Finally, fill the pipe with soil and plant small flower seedlings or small vegetable seedlings, and it's complete!

Besides what Huahua introduced above, there are actually many homemade flower racks that neither take up space nor fail to work well for growing flowers. Come and take a look!
