How to grow morning glories? A bonsai master explains the care and management methods in detail

Growing methods:
1. Choosing a pot
Any kind of pot will do, such as ceramic pots, clay pots, plastic pots, etc., and the size does not need to be large. Around 18cm is fine. Depending on the style, if you want to hang it up, then the pot size needs to be around 30cm.
2. Soil
Ordinary soil is fine, with added humus soil and river sand. This changes the soil fertility and aeration.
3. Water
During the growing season, just keep the potting soil moist. At other times, still follow the watering principle of watering when dry and letting it dry out between waterings.
4. Fertilizer
Based on how much humus soil you added when mixing the soil originally, plan how much and how often to fertilize. After the flower buds appear, maintain the frequency of fertilizing. This ensures blooming.
5. Four-season care
In spring, provide ample light; in summer, cool it down appropriately; in autumn, provide light and keep the potting soil moist; in winter, the temperature should not be too low.
Sowing and propagation are generally carried out in autumn. When the morning glory seedlings grow to 4 to 5 leaves, repot and replant them. When the roots of the morning glory grow to about 3cm, they can be slightly shaped.
Little gardening tips:
Morning glories are sensitive to harmful gases in the air such as nitrogen oxides and ammonia.
When growing morning glories at home, keep the light adequate. At home, it is generally suitable to place them in a very bright spot such as a balcony.
