Jewelry designer Stephanie Jones lives in Chicago, USA. When she takes walks in spring, she always comes across lace flowers. The fluffy little white blooms are very beautiful, so she developed a strong fondness and interest in lace flowers. Later she discovered that this small white flower can be dyed and can also be made into beautiful pressed flowers, all of which look lovely.

As a jewelry designer, she naturally wanted to apply this beautiful little flower to jewelry design, so Stephanie Jones began mixing lace flowers with different materials and colors to make various accessories, and ultimately found that clear resin (also called crystal resin) was the most suitable.

The harvested lace flowers are placed in water mixed with food coloring, letting the flowers absorb the color until they become the desired hue, then the stems are removed, the flower heads are cut off, arranged, and heated in a microwave for 20 seconds. Compared with pressed flowers, microwave-heated flowers are more vivid and lively.

The dyed and dried flowers are combined with copper fittings of various shapes and glass, then added to crystal resin to make beautiful rings, necklaces and other accessories.

In the transparent accessories made with this method, the lace flowers inside look fresh and vivid, full of spirit, and rich in color, and are deeply loved. Therefore, Stephanie Jones founded the hello halsted studio, specializing in making and selling lace flower clear resin accessories.
