In summer, if you don't finish drinking this stuff, it turns sour; with simple processing, pour it on pothos and asparagus fern, and the leaves will be glossy green

Many people keep plants such as asparagus fern, pothos, and money tree at home. They can be used to decorate the home, bring a touch of green to life, and also cultivate the mind.
As summer arrives, people often find that plants frequently develop dry tips and yellow leaves, reducing their ornamental value. Today, Hua'er will introduce some tips on growing flowers, so your flowers can grow nonstop, with glossy green leaves and blooms all over the branches.
We drink soy milk in daily life, but if it is not finished in time, it will turn sour and smelly. Throwing it away is too wasteful. Soy milk still contains a large amount of elements such as nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, and is a very good flower fertilizer that can be used to grow flowers. However, it cannot be poured directly; it must be fermented first.
Specific method:Prepare a few plastic bottles, collect the sour-smelling soy milk, and put it into the plastic bottles. You can fill the bottles gradually. It is best to use soy milk within ten days. If you have insecticide, you can drip a few drops in to speed up fermentation. Screw the lid on tightly and place it directly under the sun to bake. After 3-4 days, loosen the lid to let air in. Once the stench disappears, it means fermentation is complete.
Take the upper clear liquid of the fermented soy milk, mix it with water at 1:50, and then pour it directly on asparagus fern, pothos, money tree, etc., once every 10 days. This can make them grow like crazy, no longer develop dry tips and yellow leaves, and keep the leaves glossy green.
Daily care of asparagus fern and pothos:
1. Asparagus fern
Asparagus fern likes a warm, humid, semi-shaded environment and has relatively high water requirements. Too wet will cause root rot, while too dry will lead to dry tips and yellow leaves. Follow the principle of watering when dry and watering thoroughly. In summer, when temperatures are high and the air is dry, often spray some water on the leaves and around the plant to increase humidity and lower temperature. Avoid strong light and move it to a cool, ventilated place for care, where it can receive some scattered light.
2. Pothos
Pothos likes water. If the potting soil is too dry, the leaves will turn yellow and fall off, but it must not become waterlogged, otherwise it will cause withered leaves and root rot. In summer, water once a day and often spray water on the leaves to increase humidity. Once a week, spray a 0.1% potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution to make the leaves even darker green. Avoid strong light. You can move it to a south balcony or an east windowsill, and care for it in an environment with plenty of scattered light.
That is all for plant care. If flower friends have other additions, you can share them with everyone in the comment section below. To learn more about flower-growing knowledge, you can follow Huajianke!
