Tomato is the most popular fruit. The reason tomatoes are so popular is not only that their taste is loved by the public, but also that the lycopene they are rich in not only helps protect the cardiovascular system, but its unique antioxidant capacity has made it one of the fruits many doctors recommend eating every day. Therefore many people grow a pot of cherry tomatoes at home so they can have fresh tomatoes to eat every day. But how can you get more fruit?

Growing conditions: Growing tomatoes requires a well-draining, sturdy flower pot. Try not to use a light plastic pot, as it easily causes tomatoes to fall over; even with a frame, a pot that is too light is useless and will topple as soon as the wind blows. The container for planting tomatoes must be at least 30 cm in diameter and needs sufficient sunlight.

Soil conditions: The soil for growing tomatoes should be as fertile as possible, since growth requires enough nutrients. You can add some small gravel to the bottom of the pot, then spread a layer of soil, then put in appropriately decomposed manure or cake fertilizer as a base fertilizer. Garden soil, leaf mold and river sand mixed in a 3:5:2 ratio should be used as the fertile soil. Soil like this has very good drainage and is acidic, which is very suitable for tomato growth. It is not suitable to give slow-release fertilizer, as this easily causes an insufficient nutrient supply.

Winter Red Fruit

Winter Red Fruit is a variety of apple. Its tree form is compact; in spring, light pink flowers bloom all over the branches, and in autumn and winter the tree is covered with exquisite, cute fruits. Its fruit shape closely resembles an apple, and it is suitable for garden planting or for potted viewing and making bonsai.

Winter Red Fruit is a horticultural variety. It likes a sunny, cool and dry environment, is cold-resistant, and fears damp heat. It is suitable for growing in sandy soil rich in humus, loose and fertile, and well-draining. It is generally transplanted or potted in spring each year, and during the growing period it requires sufficient sunlight. If there is not enough light, it will affect the color of the fruit, the plant shape and the fruiting situation. Therefore, when planted in the ground it can be placed in a sunny, ventilated spot in the courtyard, and when potted the plant should be placed in a place with sufficient sunlight.

When caring for a Winter Red Fruit bonsai at home, pay attention to four key points: first, pay attention to ventilation and light, and generally turn the bonsai once every 2 to 3 days; second, watering depends on the soil moisture and should not be too much. Generally, water when there are signs of drought in the leaves, water thoroughly at one time, and it is best if the water temperature is close to room temperature; also pay attention to spraying water on the leaves; third, about every 10 days, apply an organic liquid fertilizer once, and at the same time spray a foliar fertilizer; fourth, pay attention to low-temperature dormancy in winter and freeze protection for the fruit tree. After the leaves fall, the fruit is picked, and a thorough watering is done, wrap the tree body and flower pot with plastic sheeting that has ventilation holes, and place it outdoors or in a cool place to overwinter. The next year it will flower and set fruit normally.
