Jade plant is easy to grow and care for, with a stately, upright yet elegant form.

Every year in early spring, the jade plant needs its pot and soil changed. The potting soil must have good drainage and be loose and airy. You can choose to mix leaf mold, garden soil, coarse sand, bone meal and plant ash together.
The jade plant's optimal growing temperature is between 20 and 30 degrees. Spring and autumn are especially suitable for its growing season, and it can be placed in sunlight, but by summer it needs shading and must not be placed in direct sunlight. When the temperature is above 38 degrees, it enters a period of slow growth, and at this time you must be careful not to let water accumulate.
Overwatering that causes water accumulation and root rot is one of the main reasons many flower lovers kill their jade plants. During the jade plant's growing season (late spring to early summer and autumn), watering it once every three or four days is enough. Be sure the potting soil does not stay wet for long periods, and avoid water accumulation. In summer, watering should be controlled, and good ventilation must be maintained, otherwise leaf drop is easily caused. In winter, the jade plant enters dormancy, the potting soil should be kept dry, and watering once every one to ten days is enough.
During its growing season, applying diluted, well-rotted cake fertilizer two or three times a month is enough. Too much fertilizer will cause leggy growth. In fact, the jade plant is quite easy to care for; the most important thing is to use the right method and adjust the watering frequency according to the season and temperature.
