Finally, at the end of April, I was able to visit the succulent gardens of the great growers in Haikou. April in Hainan means summer has arrived. Before I went, there had been several heavy rains, and the succulent babies had all started taking off their beautiful makeup, with only a few still trying hard to keep their last bit of color. Washed by several heavy rains, although the succulent babies did not have the splendor of winter, they were plumper and cleaner, like a beautiful woman with no makeup on, which is another kind of beauty. There were so many succulents I had never seen or heard of, dazzling to the eyes.
Without further ado, let me take everyone to visit the succulent gardens of the great growers in Hainan.
Haha Jie's garden is arranged in a way that makes people feel especially comfortable.
Sitting under this rack drinking tea is a kind of enjoyment.
The second floor has even more beautiful succulents, arranged in perfect order, and the pairing of the succulents with the flower pots is also beautiful to the extreme, perfect.
The second floor has two balconies, both completely filled.
I thought it was Echeveria runyonii, and I even said this Echeveria runyonii is really beautiful, hahaha.
Because of time constraints, I could not stay at Haha Jie's home for too long. Sister Tianzhizui came to pick me up. On the way, she told me that when work pressure is high, buy some succulents happily to reward yourself, and when unhappy, buy some succulents to comfort yourself. At noon when she returns to the dormitory, she looks at succulents and plants succulents to relieve work pressure.
When I got to her balcony, I saw a balcony full of succulents, very neat, one pot leaning against another, an intimate group. If you look slowly, you could look at them for most of the day. You cannot underestimate this balcony. There are many, many succulents from South Korea inside. When she was introducing them to me, I was completely stunned.
Prom red dress, I like this one.
Although it is small, it is very expensive, "afraid it will drop when held in the palm."
Sister Tianzhizui got into the hobby relatively early, and she is also a friend I got to know early on. She has many succulents, mostly fine specimens, and this is only part of hers. At the end, she also said that when work pressure is high, looking at succulents is the thing that can calm you most and make you most comfortable. Perhaps only succulent growers can understand this feeling.
Sister Jiujiu's succulent garden, the legendary 33rd floor, haha, a very large scale and very imposing succulent garden. The succulents grown outdoors are also very beautiful, and the wind on the rooftop is strong. The scenery and the view are both very good.
Photo of Sister Jiujiu looking at succulents.
The person and the succulents are equally beautiful.
This one is the largest cabbage I have ever seen.
Little cuties.
A broken pot.
Monanthes.
Sister Jiujiu's succulent garden is spectacular, in whole patches after patches. When she is in Haikou, basically whenever she has time before work in the morning and after work in the afternoon, she comes to see the succulents and take care of her succulent garden. The more succulents there are, the more thought she puts in. Even so, she still feels that the succulents bring her more happiness, which is why she gives so much!
Male god Hero Guo's succulent garden does not have succulents in whole patches. The garden is clean and tidy. Its greatest feature is that he can grow very ordinary succulents into especially exquisite ones. Every pot is a fine specimen. One look and you know he stays in the succulent hobby very rationally.
Secretly photographed Great God Ming, haha.
If you ask him how he can grow succulents so well and so large, he will answer you with "time."
I remember this is a succulent Hero propagated from a leaf, truly beautiful.
If you can grow them well for 12 years, you can count as a hero. Fat and plump and glossy, I wanted to pinch it, but I could not, so I only touched it.
Every succulent grower gives all their effort just to be able to quietly watch them change through the four seasons in a busy life, and for that sense of achievement from a single head to a whole cluster. Loving them with care is also for the succulents lost along the way in the succulent-growing journey. Three or five people, regardless of age, occupation, or gender, get together to talk about their beauty and ugliness. Some people say that only after knowing you did I realize that there really is such a group of people, so simple, so warm, who can give so much without seeking benefit.
Thank you to every succulent friend who invited me to their home to see succulents, both those I went to and those I did not. For those I did not go to, I will go if there is a chance. Thank you to Sister Tianzhizui, Haha Jie, Jiujiu, Sister Zhen, Hero Guo, Sister Deng, Zhuzhu, Sister Danyun, Ying, Ming, Xiaoqi, and Muxin for hosting me. Full of happiness, full of rewards!
