Recently I suddenly became obsessed with arrangements. The mighty Taobao provides us with extreme convenience but also limits a lot of our imagination. Accessories like branches and all sorts of things can be bought ready-made. I also tried finding dead branches myself to DIY, but in the end they were not as water-resistant, rot-resistant or durable as the ready-made ones. After all, for an arrangement to stay beautiful, it needs to be watered.

How to open up your imagination so that ready-made things put together have a sense of beauty - for me, this process is where the fun lies.

The small ice-crackle cup was one I thought was beautiful at a tea set shop and planned to take home for drinking tea, but I read an article saying this material is not very good for drinking tea, so it happened to be used for an arrangement.

This small cup was secretly taken out of a Jingdezhen porcelain tea set that my husband treasures very much. After it was discovered, he nagged me about it for several days

The arrangements below were all made with small seedlings I propagated myself, which is also a lot of fun

I think that to complete a beautiful arrangement, besides having all the materials ready, the important thing is to have the imagination to pair the materials at hand beautifully. Of course, you also need to understand the habits of the plants. Succulents with different types of habits should not be mixed together, to avoid problems in future care.

My next small goal is to make sure that all my beloved relatives and friends have an arrangement I made with my own hands in their homes
