Desert rose watering techniques: flowers bloom continuously through all four seasons

The desert rose's flowers and leaves are elegant and charming, uniquely distinctive, with high ornamental value. With proper care, flowers can be seen in spring, summer and autumn. Let's take a look at how to water the desert rose!
Desert rose watering techniques:
(1). Water the desert rose when the soil is dry; water by observing how dry the soil is. When the potting soil is on the dry side, it needs 1 watering.
(2). You can use a toothpick to probe 2~3cm deep into the soil; if the toothpick is not damp, it is time to water. When watering, water thoroughly, until you see water flowing out of the drainage holes. Do not just water the soil surface, but there must be no standing water, otherwise the roots will easily rot.
(3). Do not water at midday, especially during the high-temperature summer season; if you water then, the fast evaporation rate can easily scorch the plant. Generally, watering in the early morning or evening is best. When summer temperatures are high, water once a day, or once every 2~3 days, ensuring sufficient water and nutrients, which guarantees that the flowers produced are abundant and vivid.
(4). Spring and autumn are the periods of vigorous growth; increase the amount and frequency of watering to keep the potting soil moist, while avoiding standing water. When watering, follow "water when dry, let dry out then water thoroughly" and "water thoroughly after the soil has dried out."
(5). In winter, reduce watering and keep the potting soil dry; when it becomes too dry, water appropriately.
