How do you grow golden sedum (Sedum japonicum 'Tokyo Sun') so it fills its pot?

I heard from the flower seller that a tiny golden sedum, once planted in soil, can grow into a very large pot. I really didn't believe it. I had only heard that a spider plant can grow from a tiny plant into a big pot, but never that golden sedum could too. I was very curious, so I began my life of growing golden sedum. Unexpectedly, just as my friend said, it grew into a big pot, and its leaves were flat and golden yellow in color, extremely beautiful. I was very happy, so I decided to share my little plant-growing tips with you. How do you grow golden sedum? Here are the tips for making it fill its pot!
1. Soil
Before planting golden sedum, we of course first choose a flower pot and soil. I originally chose a small flower pot, because it was just a small plant, and I thought a small pot would be enough. Clearly I was too naive. Later the golden sedum grew all the way outside the pot, so you should choose a pot of suitable size, with a small hole at the bottom to let the roots of the golden sedum breathe. I took some soil from the vegetable garden at home and started planting the golden sedum, and found it grew very well. Later I switched to sandy soil and found it grew very well too, so use whichever is convenient for you; either one will grow well.
2. Watering
When watering, I chose to sprinkle water with a spray bottle. When I saw the golden sedum was short of water, I would first spray a little water on the leaves, just enough to keep the leaves moist, and then I would spray water on the soil. The reason I chose a spray bottle is that it can control the amount of water, so you won't accidentally water too much and drown the golden sedum. In winter, watering needs even more attention. If you water too much, the soil may freeze, and then the golden sedum will freeze to death.
3. Temperature
The place where I live is relatively cold, and I heard it would freeze the golden sedum to death, so I kept it indoors. The indoor temperature was between 5-30°C, so it grew very well. Fellow flower growers, you need to control the temperature when growing golden sedum!
4. Sunlight
Sunlight is the foundation of all things. No plant can survive without sunlight, and golden sedum is no exception. The only difference is that golden sedum loves sunlight very much. In summer, even if you put it in a place with plenty of sunlight and let it bake, it won't be scorched to death, and it will grow very well. If it lives in a place with insufficient sunlight, it will instead grow poorly.
5. Pruning
We often say "pruning flowers, pruning flowers," which means using scissors to prune plants. Golden sedum also needs pruning, and after pruning, the golden sedum grows very fast, just like human hair: the more often you cut it, the faster it grows.
