Only 2 Hours of Sunlight? Learn 3 Techniques to Grow Roses Well

Many flower enthusiasts grow roses, but because of their environment, the sunlight hours are not long enough, and it is semi-shady all year round, so they always feel it is not suitable for growing roses. In fact, even if there are only 2 hours of sunlight, learning 3 techniques well will still let you grow roses well.
Technique 1: Choose varieties that also bloom easily in semi-shady environments
Basically, roses all like sunlight, but there are also varieties that bloom easily with only 3-4 hours of sunlight. For example, these 4 roses: Knot, Lady Black Shadow, Grace, and San Yoshino.
During care, because of insufficient sunlight, sufficient nutrients are needed to supply the growth of the roses. Flower enthusiasts need to increase the frequency of fertilizing accordingly. Generally, a rose-specific organic liquid fertilizer should be applied once about every 7 days, diluted 500 times and poured onto the roses, to promote growth and maintain a full plant shape.
Technique 2: Preserve rose leaves as much as possible
A courtyard with little sunlight and semi-shade is also a place prone to insufficient photosynthetic products. Although there is little sunlight, keep as many leaves as possible, and make up for it through their photosynthesis.
In addition, in such a place, the closer to the ground, the darker it is. During the year, try not to do deep pruning. Even branches that seem like they will not bloom should be kept, and as many leaves as possible should be retained. This is also an important part of management.
Technique 3: Bend the branches into a bow shape
When sunlight can only reach the upper leaves of the roses, in order to let more leaves receive light, the branches can be bent into a bow shape and spread outward, and fixed with supports, etc.
The benefit of doing this is: light easily reaches the lower branches and leaves of the roses, more leaves can receive light, and after the branches spread out, the apical dominance of the roses is broken, so axillary buds easily grow, and blooming is no longer difficult.
