In summer, not only do people find it hard to endure, some plants also find it very hard to endure. Sometimes, once they are not watched closely, or if you forget to check on them for a long time, some diseases will appear, and in serious cases they can even die. This kind of situation is still fairly common. So how should you care for a happy tree in summer? The most important thing is to pay attention to these two points, and at the very least you can ensure the happy tree will not die.

The first is to keep an eye on the environment. Although the happy tree likes high-temperature, high-heat environments, there is still a range, and it does not mean you can just throw it on the balcony and let it sun however it wants. The temperature suitable for the happy tree's growth is about 20-30 degrees. Above 30 degrees, the happy tree will begin to wilt. This temperature refers to the air temperature, not the temperature of the flowerpot. If the flowerpot is exposed to direct sunlight and gets even hotter, the happy tree's root system cannot stand it. If the potting soil has poor air permeability, under the effect of high temperature, the happy tree can very easily begin to suffer root rot, and even die.

The second is watering. Actually, for a happy tree placed on the balcony, watering does not involve the concept of watering once every few days, because different environments mean different watering amounts and frequencies. Because summer is relatively hot, as long as it is dry you can water it thoroughly. But there is one exception: if the flowerpot used is a clay tile pot, and the balcony is also relatively well ventilated, then you can water it thoroughly. If the potting soil is relatively good, once a day is even fine. But if what you are using is plastic or ceramic, then the watering amount should be halved. This kind of pot is the most prone to root rot in summer. This is because the flowerpot is too hot, the potting soil is not breathable, and the hot air inside cannot get out. So as long as you do not make these two mistakes, the happy tree can still get through summer safely without any problem!
