Why did this photo of a person's back leave countless people silent after seeing it?

Entering summer, it is a high-incidence period for fire hazards.

In early April, a forest fire in Fuzhou flooded the WeChat groups and Moments of Fuzhou people. Thick black smoke kept billowing out, the fire was fierce and nearly a thousand mu of mountain forest was burned, the firelight reddened half the sky.

100 officers and soldiers from Fuzhou rushed to the fire scene urgently, and after nearly 5 hours of desperate firefighting, the fire was effectively brought under control.

Fortunately, this big fire caused no casualties!

Most of the time, when a fire breaks out, people's focus is: "What a big fire, everything is burned up..."

Actually, the editor is no exception, until the editor saw this picture online...

In the cold winter of 2016, behind Huaqing Building on Wuyi South Road in Fuzhou, a fire broke out in a cluster of old houses, with a fire area of over a thousand sq m. 210 fire officers and soldiers took part in fighting the fire, the fire was brought under control at around 22:35, and nearly 300 people were successfully evacuated.

The editor does not want to use too many words of praise, nor scenes of them fighting fires and rescuing people, because this is their duty. With a few photos after firefighting and rescue, let me show you, I only want to say it is nothing but shocking......

The second day after the fire, there were still firefighters doing aftermath work at the fire scene. One fire officer and soldier was too exhausted, and while taking a brief rest he fell asleep in the rain.

Recently, a netizen @-4 minutes 33 seconds- posted a photo on Weibo called "After Firefighting." In the picture are two pairs of "soaked and rotting" feet...

After seeing such a photo, netizens' first reaction was not disgust, but paying tribute and feeling heartache.

Such hands and feet are not isolated cases; they are very real and common.

These pairs of hands, already blackened by fire, with dirt all over the gaps between the fingers, have a look and vicissitudes beyond their age.

These hands also have wounds from being accidentally cut by fire hoses.

These hands were worn raw on hook ladders and two-section extension ladders, but they still use these hands to climb up!

These hands have cut rings, opened locks, carried gas tanks, and held kittens and puppies;

These hands hold water guns under the blazing sun, and hold children in heavy rain;

These hands, in typhoons and floods, have dug out hope for life again and again.

The hands of firefighters

are hands that serve the people without complaint or regret

silently safeguarding the people's safety

These hands

fear no pain and no filth

have witnessed the safety of one life after another

and have also witnessed the "omnipotence" of firefighters

Besides hands getting injured

firefighters who cannot afford to rest on the front line of firefighting

when they take off their shoes and socks

only then will they discover

their feet are already "soaked and rotting"

Every time a fire occurs

firefighters always have to charge at the very front

and also fight to the very end

Because once a fire occurs

the firefighting task admits no delay

Eating late at night

they may also take two bites and then rush to the next task

That group of heroes running toward danger

has shielded us from all wind and rain

It is they who, with their own bodies

shoulder the duty of saving people and fighting fires

When facing raging fire and thick smoke

there is such a group of people

who brave fire and water without hesitation

When facing requests for help from the public

there is such a group of people

who charge ahead and keep the people safe

They are the most handsome line of running toward danger

No matter what danger occurs

firefighters will reach out their hands and hold us firmly

rescuing us from danger again and again

These are unforgettable hands

The people who possess these hands

must be the most handsome

Pay tribute to the lovely and admirable firefighters around us!
