Feed your clivia a spoonful of oil, and its leaves will grow plump and green and it will burst into bloom

Clivia has elegant leaves and large, vivid flowers. Many people love growing clivia, but it is very difficult to get it to bloom. Today we introduce a method that gives clivia plenty of nutrients, plump green leaves, and a full pot of blooms!
Feeding clivia with waste oil
The range hood at home often needs its waste oil cleaned out. You can collect it and use it to grow flowers with good results, though not all flowers will do. For foliage plants such as spider plant, hibiscus, lucky bamboo, and clivia, the effect is quite good.
Clivia is a heavy-feeding plant, so this waste oil is rich in nutrients. It can make clivia leaves glossy, large and green, and can also promote blooming.
How do you use this waste oil? Many flower growers do not know how to use it and think pouring it into the potting soil is enough. Never do that. The greasy oil will make the entire soil surface stick together, and it easily attracts flying insects and breeds bacteria, affecting the growth of the clivia.
Generally, apply it along the soil at the edge of the pot so it stays away from the roots, preventing root burn and soil compaction. Then poke a few holes with chopsticks, pour the waste oil into the holes, and cover the holes with soil to bury the oil. The amount used must not be too much, about half a spoon each time is enough, and use it once every few months. The frequency must not be too high.
