Many friends like to keep a few pots of flowers and plants at home, but for many flower lovers, growing plants is a rather difficult task. They worry all day about watering and fertilizing and other issues, yet still accidentally kill their flowers. In fact, growing flowers is not that difficult. If we put a little thought into watering, we can make our flowers branch out lushly and grow vigorously.

1. Vinegar

For acid-loving flowers, vinegar is a fairly good fertilizer. For plants like gardenia, jasmine, camellia, and Aglaia odorata, if you grow them in the north, yellowing leaves are quite common. We can add a little vinegar when watering, which can promote the plant's absorption of iron, enhance the flowers' disease resistance, and prevent conditions like chlorosis in plants.

2. Beer

Beer has the title of "liquid bread" and contains relatively many nutrients, such as sugar, protein, amino acids, and carbon dioxide, all of which do a fairly good job of promoting the growth of flowers and plants. You can dilute beer and spray it onto the leaf surface; this can remove dust from the leaves while also providing ample nutrients to the flowers, making the leaves even more glossy and green.

3. Ferrous sulfate

Ferrous sulfate is a fairly suitable fertilizer. It can not only improve the pH of the soil, but also supplement iron for flowers, promote the formation of chlorophyll, and speed up the growth rate of flowers. Generally, we can water flowers with a diluted ferrous sulfate solution or spray it onto the leaf surface, and both work very well, especially for acid-loving flowers, where the effect is even better.

4. Vitamin B12

Vitamins have unexpected benefits in growing flowers. When taking cuttings or helping plants recover after repotting, you can use a diluted vitamin B12 solution to spray the plant or directly use it for watering. It can not only sterilize and disinfect, but also promote root sprouting and reduce the time needed for repotting recovery.
