How to weave an eternal coat for withered leaves and dead branches

Many artists are inspired by nature and use unnatural materials to imitate nature. But the artist introduced today, Susanna Bauer, does the opposite: she takes her materials from nature and uses unconventional artistic methods to reshape nature.
Susanna Bauer
Susanna Bauer is a German artist. With her ingenious approach, she likes to patch up withered branches and fallen leaves in nature and knit sweaters for stones, creating a novel kind of artwork.
Leaves, dead branches, broken wood, crushed stones... These things have brief lives and are often overlooked, but in the hands of an artist they often gain new life. (Instantly I think of some floral designers I know who all have a warehouse filled with treasures "picked up" from everywhere.)
Bauer began learning to weave in childhood, and from this she combined weaving with natural details she collected, such as leaves, branches and stones, carefully working with needle and thread into one mini artwork after another, making people marvel at the beauty of the combination of nature and ingenious handcraft.
Susanna's works convey a balance between fragility and strength. Fallen leaves themselves are insignificant things and are also very easily broken. Supple lines travel through the dead leaves, and only very delicate handwork can achieve the ideal form.
Susanna Bauer says, "I work to discover the beauty of nature." In the work of "seeking the beauty of nature," fragility and strength are well balanced. Indeed, when soft thread passes through brittle dead leaves and slender withered branches, it also conveys a deeper meaning: ease and tension exist between people, the brief yet eternal beauty of nature can be found in the delicate world, and fragility and strength can be poured out as a whole to nature or transformed into everyone's story.
After seeing her works, one cannot help but think of that very "corny" saying: the world is not lacking beauty, but lacking eyes to discover beauty!
