Broadleaf plants: beyond admiring them, here are the care methods too

There are many broadleaf plants. In fact, what we call broadleaf plants only appear broad-leaved when compared with coniferous plants. An introduction to broadleaf plants! Beyond admiring them, here are the care methods too!
The first plant we bring you is: the banana plant (Musa basjoo)
The banana plant can be said to have very large, fleshy leaves. Its texture is very soft, and it grows easily. Now that you have a basic understanding of the banana plant, it is time to look at how to grow it.
Since the banana plant is not cold-tolerant, when growing it you need to keep the surrounding ambient temperature under control in winter; it must not fall below 0°C. Once it goes below that, the banana plant will suffer frost damage and die.
If you are growing the banana plant for ornamental purposes, then you need to prune it appropriately. When growing it, you also need to give the banana plant plenty of sun. For fertilizing, mainly apply well-rotted fertilizer.
The second plant we introduce to you is: the bird of paradise (Strelitzia)
Bird of paradise plants grown at home are usually extremely noble and elegant. The bird of paradise likes warm, humid environments, so when growing it you need to pay special attention to whether the surrounding environment is suitable for its growth.
During the bird of paradise's growing season, it needs to be fertilized about once every half a month. Normally you should also put the bird of paradise outside to get some sun, which helps its growth. When overwintering, be careful to maintain the temperature at around 10°C to prevent it from dying. The bird of paradise can be propagated by sowing seeds or by division; between the two methods, the editor of course recommends division.
The third plant we introduce to you is: Alocasia (Alocasia macrorrhizos, also known as giant taro)
Alocasia, when in a humid environment, will drip water, but you must never casually catch this water, otherwise it can injure your hands.
Alocasia likes to stay in shady spots, and normally only needs appropriate light. In summer, it is best to place Alocasia in a shady spot, then wait until the afternoon when the sun is weaker and bring it out to get some sun.
Alocasia also likes warm environments, so in winter the temperature needs to be kept above 15°C to prevent it from dying. Summer weather is very hot, and Alocasia also loves water, so normally the watering frequency should change from once a day to twice a day.
The fourth plant: Green King (Aglaonema)
Green King has very broad leaves, and as an ornamental plant it is also deeply loved by many flower enthusiasts.
Green King has a very developed root system, so before growing it you need to prepare a large flower pot, and the soil should be chosen as soil with good humus content.
Green King likes shade by nature, so when caring for it you should prevent excessive light, which can cause scorching. Its cold tolerance is poor, so in winter the temperature should be kept above 20°C. For watering Green King, normally it should be once every 3 days, but in summer when the weather is hotter, the watering frequency should change to once a day.
