What plants are suitable for decorating a windowsill?

A few pots of greenery on a small balcony can add a touch of vitality to the windowsill, and some plants can bloom beautifully with little fuss, dressing up the windowsill. Below, the editor introduces the following plants, which can be grown as long as you have a windowsill.
1. Hibiscus (Hibiscus rosa-sinensis)
Hibiscus, also called mulberry-leaf peony, comes in red, yellow, blue, white and pink flowers that dazzle the eye. As long as it gets plenty of sunlight, moist soil and suitable temperatures, it can bloom from spring to autumn.
2. Wax begonia (Begonia semperflorens)
Keep the temperature at 18 to 23 degrees, with air circulation and moist soil, and begonia can bloom all year round, in pink, red or white flowers, whichever you like. The leaves also have a strong texture.
3. Clivia (Clivia miniata)
Clivia needs no introduction; it is enjoyed both for its flowers and its leaves. It has red, orange and yellow flowers, and a cool, dry environment can extend its flowering period.
4. Goldfish plant (Nematanthus gregarius)
With plenty of light it produces many flowers, and the blooms are shaped like little goldfish, which children love. When caring for it, slightly drier soil is better.
5. Violet (Matthiola incana)
It blooms all year round and has hundreds of forms. It likes a warm environment and some shade (placing it under a large plant also works). Keep the potting soil moist; 18 to 23 degrees is most suitable for growth.
