36 sq m rooftop "rose garden" You might worry that your own yard is too small to do a good job with it, but no worries, since the space is not big, we will simplify all possible decorations as much as possible, and not consider other functional uses either, just make it into a big garden.

Graham Thomas: Unfortunately it still counts as the worst plant I have ever grown. For 3 years it has always performed weakly. With the same heavy fertilizer, it seems to have no effect on it, and it still has slender thin branches, and the number of flowers is also small. Naturally, no basel shoots come out either. Another point is that this one especially attracts leafcutter bees, and it seems to be selective, specifically choosing Thomas to cut.

Double Ballet: In May I went to Shanghai, and at the home of the flower friend Damo I was stunned by his potted flowers. After returning home, I bought more than ten kinds of roses in one go and grew them in pots, and basically all of them performed excellently. This one is called Double Ballet. A single flower lasts about half a month, and during that time, through sun and rain, the flower color does not fade and the flower shape does not fall apart. At first I had wanted to let it bloom only after the plant form was well developed, and I even pinched off some of the earliest buds, but the buds kept coming endlessly, so I just let it be.

Wine Cellar: Among the roses purchased later, judging by the flowers alone, my favorite is Wine Cellar. I love the color, and it has a pleasant fragrance. The drawback is that it nods a bit, but that may also be because the plant is currently weak. A single flower lasts three or four days. The flowers are medium-sized, and although it does not bloom densely, the buds come one after another.

Cut Zhu: A variety that is very hard to photograph. I can never capture that tender yellow center. It looks like I need to change to another camera. There are many flowers, and the plant is very strong.

Joan of Arc: Like the Cut Zhu above, it is a seedling from Hongweiba de Zhu's place. A seedling for just over 40 yuan was bigger than others' 70-plus-yuan ones. The latter arrived with black spot disease, and after a month of treatment it still died. Switching to Zhuzhu's seedlings, they were clean and twice as big, yet 30-plus yuan cheaper. Highly recommended. Moderator, please do not delete me, I am not intentionally advertising. However, Joan of Arc, like Cut Zhu, is also a variety that does not photograph well. Only the last photo finally captured the look from the promotional pictures.

Candlelight: A relatively rarely heard of variety, but actually it is also quite good. The flowers are very large, with the old traditional goblet-shaped buds, and a single flower lasts nearly 10 days.

The picture below is how it looks in the later blooming stage:

Grand Proprietor: It feels like a smaller version of Red Dragon, and in other respects it is almost exactly the same as Red Dragon. The color is very true, small buds, and a single flower lasts extremely long. The earliest bunch to bloom stayed open for almost a whole month.

Queen of Sweden: A variety I had always longed for. This year, in its second year, it finally gave its first flowers. I had long heard that the flowers are small, and that is not a big deal, but the blooming period is really too unpleasant. Basically it is only fresh and bright for one day, and by the second day it has fallen apart. The so-called continuous blooming also has intervals, and it does not bloom long-term like the varieties above, and the summer flowers are only as big as a button. I now really dislike roses that nod and have short blooming periods. At this rate, this Queen is also something I will demote.

The small yard is all planted up. I just wish I had a little more, even more space to grow flowers. It is so crowded there is no place to set foot.
