Many people keep pothos at home. It can be grown in soil or in water, and it grows well either way. It is a very common green indoor plant. And when you want to propagate pothos quickly, cuttings are often used. Many people say that taking cuttings of pothos is difficult, and that after taking cuttings themselves the plants easily fail to survive. Today I will introduce a method that makes pothos root quickly and raises the survival rate.

Add a little "something" when taking pothos cuttings

1. Select a healthy section of stem with aerial roots, cut it diagonally from the potted pothos, and put it in a cool, ventilated place to let the wound dry.

2. Prepare half a basin of clean water and set it aside. Pour rooting powder into the clean water and let it fully blend with the water; about half a packet of rooting powder is enough. After it is fully mixed, add two drops of vinegar, then mix again and set aside.

3. Soak the stem section that was previously dried in the cool, ventilated place in the mixed solution for about 6 hours or so. Once the pothos stem gradually grows small roots, you can take the pothos cutting.

4. Put soil that pothos likes to grow in into the prepared flower pot; loose, fertile, well-aerated soil is best. You can also add a little nutrient soil, then insert the previously soaked pothos stem into the soil and water it a little; do not water too much. Freshly cut pothos stems are not suited to too much water.

5. Once the cutting is done and you have watered it lightly, place it in a cool, ventilated place for care. After a few days of care, you can move it to a semi-shaded place. At this time, water it once each morning and evening to ensure it has enough moisture. After a while longer, when the cutting has grown new tender leaves, you can care for it normally. Before long you will find that the pothos has easily filled the pot.
