Pay attention to these points with clivia, and it will bloom every year without interruption, with some even blooming two or three times

Can clivia bloom every year? The answer is yes. As long as the clivia has reached blooming age, it will bloom every year. With good care, it can even bloom two to three times a year!
Clivia generally needs more than 12 leaves to bloom, meaning only plants grown from seed for three years or more can bloom. If your clivia meets this condition, it will be able to bloom.
Sufficient light. For clivia to bloom, sufficient light is essential. Apart from needing shade in summer, clivia must be given sufficient light in all other seasons. Sufficient light is also a necessary condition for blooming.
Regular fertilizing. For clivia to grow, regular fertilizing is key. During the growing season, fertilizer must be supplied at least once or twice a month. Use a multi-element mixed fertilizer mainly based on nitrogen, following the principle of frequent application of dilute fertilizer. In the high-temperature summer season, clivia grows slowly or stops growing. During this period, stop fertilizing. After the temperature drops in autumn, start giving clivia a fertilizer mainly based on phosphorus and potassium. Stop once the clivia has produced flower buds.
Suitable temperature difference. For clivia to bloom, a temperature difference is essential. The prerequisite for clivia to bloom is a temperature difference of more than ten degrees; the lowest nighttime temperature should not be lower than 10 degrees. The highest daytime temperature should not be higher than 30 degrees. This is the most suitable temperature for clivia to bloom.
Light, water and fertilizer, and temperature difference are all indispensable. If these three points are achieved, blooming every year is no problem. Blooming twice a year is even possible.
