What is the difference between the succulents Huangli, Qiuli and California Sunset?
Huangli, Qiuli and California Sunset are often confused with one another. Huangli and Mingyue both belong to the "genus Sedum"; Qiuli and California Sunset are both hybrids of the ''genus Graptopetalum and the genus Sedum"; but strangely, Qiuli has the yellow 5-pointed star flower of the genus Sedum, while Huangli, Mingyue and California Sunset have white 5-pointed star flowers.
Abundant sunlight has quite a big effect on Crassulaceae:

"Qiuli" has yellow flowers, and as soon as the weather turns cold "Qiuli" leaves turn red; "Qiuli" leaves are rather slender and narrow, somewhat club-shaped.

"Huangli" has been grown for many years and counts as an old clump; 8 months ago it was lush and green, "Huangli" leaves are plump and full with orange-red leaf margins, "Huangli" leaves are rather wide and thick in the middle section, "Huangli" leaves have a somewhat translucent look.

The red leaves in winter are very beautiful; this is "California Sunset", an extremely vigorous variety; "California Sunset" leaves are rather flat and the color is more orange-yellow, and when the weather is cold it also gets a red blush; "California Sunset" blooms with white flowers that are larger than Qiuli's yellow flowers.
