June marks the beginning of summer. Many flowers fear high temperatures and slowly wither under the hot sun, but in this summer that cannot do without sunshine, flowers are still an indispensable adornment. Have you ever dreamed that in that hot summer a trace of floral fragrance would accompany you, gently kissing your cheeks in the wind? Can you tell these floral scents apart? Let's see which plants bloom fragrantly in June.

1. Gardenia

Gardenia, also called zhizi, comes in small-leaf and large-flower types; the double-flowered large gardenia is more commonly seen. It is an evergreen shrub, and its leaves are quite varied, with no uniform shape - some are long and pointed, some round and long, some short and round, and so on. The leaves are hairless, and the two sides differ in color, with the upper side having a better gloss. The flowers mostly grow singly at the tips of the branches, in the shape of a high-footed saucer, pure white in color, with a rather elegantly understated fragrance.

2. Frangipani

Also known as egg-yolk flower, its blooms mainly cluster and open at the top. The petal color resembles that of an egg, egg-yellow in the center gradually fading outward to white, with a faint, rather elegant fragrance. After the flowers fall, only the bare branches remain. The leaves are thick and juicy, hairless on both sides, and uneven in color, with the underside lighter than the upper side.

3. Jasmine

This one is very familiar, and it is also one of the flowers many moms like to grow. As jasmine blossoms open one after another, with their fragrant scent, their white figures dance on the branches - white and fragrant flowers, who would not like them, who would not love them? Jasmine's fragrance is quite rich, so it is often used as a raw material for extracting perfume.

4. White orchid

The white orchid is a relatively large plant, more suited to courtyard planting. Its fragrance is also on the rich side, and most of its flowers are in the bud stage.

5. Banana shrub

The flowers of the banana shrub open without fully spreading, giving a feeling of smiling without speaking. The fragrance is rich, and when the flowers swell and split open, picking them also has a calming effect. The flower colors include purple, red and yellow, and some have red edges; the undersides of its leaves bear small fine hairs.

6. Orange jasmine

It can often be seen on the streets. Its flowering period spans multiple seasons of the year, and the branch tips bear small yellow star-shaped scales and small spherical berries. Its scent is fresh and pleasant, somewhat similar to the smell of orchids, and its leaves are a bright, vivid green.

With their colorful forms, they leave clusters of footprints among the green leaves. When the wind blows, it carries a faint floral fragrance, bringing a touch of comfort to this hot summer. It seems you can feel every flower telling its own story. June is long, and there are many flowers - do you know any other plants that bloom in June?
