What problems have you all encountered while growing flowers? I think the most common problems are yellowing leaves or very few flowers, which greatly reduces the ornamental effect. So if you want to grow flowers well, you have to solve these two big problems!

Ferrous sulfate is a common iron fertilizer, also known as green vitriol. It can change the pH of the soil, and it can also improve the plant's utilization rate of iron ions, promote chlorophyll synthesis, and at the same time prevent yellow leaves, and it can also make flowers bloom more and more.

Ferrous sulfate is very cheap. Many flower shops in the flower market sell it, and just a few yuan gets you a big pack. One bag can be used for more than three years. It is very good for caring for flowers that like acidic soil, for example, the common Chinese rose, gardenia, camellia, clivia, asparagus fern, rubber tree, money tree, snake plant and so on all work. It can make the leaves more emerald green and glossy, reduce the chance of chlorosis, and the flowers will not stop blooming!

Many friends like to make their own flower fertilizer, but in summer the weather is hot, the temperature is high, and air circulation is also relatively slow. Often in the process of making fertilizer at home, a strong smell is given off, which is very unpleasant. Even adding orange peel can hardly cover it, and it also wastes time.

It is better to just go and buy a bag of ferrous sulfate. It is very cheap and also has very good effects. A must-have for indoor potted plants!

Below I will share the care methods for gardenia, Chinese rose and jasmine.

Gardenia

For the soil, you can use peat soil plus perlite plus a small amount of organic base fertilizer to mix it. Because the summer weather is relatively hot and the sunlight is relatively harsh, you can place it in a bright place with scattered light. When you are at work, it will not have its leaves scorched because there is no shade!

Also pay attention to ventilation. When watering gardenia, you can do it in the morning, and the water temperature should be consistent with the temperature of the potting soil, otherwise it is easy to damage the roots and affect growth.

When it is budding and blooming, you can also spray the common potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution, which can promote flowering and increase the number of flowers, and make the floral fragrance more intense.

Chinese rose

As the weather gradually gets hotter, summer gradually arrives. Many flowers have a hard time getting through summer, and some varieties of Chinese rose are the same. So in summer, avoid exposing Chinese rose to the scorching sun, increase the surrounding humidity, and pay attention to ventilation.

When potting up or repotting, pay attention to adding a small amount of organic base fertilizer to the pot. Dried bean curd sticks... the feces of... is the best fertilizer for growing Chinese rose, and the fertilizer effect is good!

At the same time, also pay attention to frequent pruning to avoid leggy branches, which consume too many nutrients, speed up water evaporation, and cause leaves to wilt and wither. At the same time, increase light penetration and increase the number of flowers.

Jasmine

Usually place jasmine in a place with plenty of light and good ventilation. The potting soil is required to be loose and breathable. When watering jasmine, do it in the morning. Many people like to water jasmine in the evening, but in fact this practice is often wrong. At night there is relatively more moisture and air flow is slow, so it is not suitable to water flowers.

When caring for jasmine, also pay attention to pruning. Especially some old branches, you will find that they do not bloom, do not grow leaves, and also do not attract pests or diseases, so cut them off in time. This can promote the sprouting of new buds and promote more flowering!
