A 30 sq m balcony turned into a garden, and the young couple next door immediately followed suit

A 30 sq m balcony "turned into a garden." To the east of my balcony, right next to mine, is a flat whose landlord almost never comes to stay, and past that is the balcony of a newlywed young couple. Their balcony layout is different from mine, without that square section, just one long strip.
After they bought the place, they immediately copied my balcony and put up an identical flower stand and white arch.
The hydrangeas have bloomed, but overall this year the whole balcony has fewer flowers than last year, hydrangeas included. Sigh....
This was taken from my side this morning, of her balcony. Yeah, her flower stand will still have loofahs climbing it this year, and when the loofah flowers bloom there will be lots of golden-yellow blooms flaunting themselves on the stand..
The wine-red Angel, placed in this spot because there is no direct sunlight, so the blooms are less dense than last year. That pot of rhododendron is still blooming, but the color seems much paler.
Yesterday I passed by a place selling pots and saw a nice 3-piece flower pot set. Unfortunately several of the large ones had cracks, so I bought the smallest one for 15, and the No. 2 for 20 yuan. The owner said he'd just throw in the large one for 5 yuan, so I simply bought two. I spent the whole afternoon in the office fiddling with AB glue, and amazingly I got them stuck together. Anyway, the cracks can't be seen from the front. At home the longevity flower, the Cymbidium sinense, and the roses are all in full bloom, and looking at them feels great. Unfortunately it's been raining for nearly half a month, and they say it'll rain until this Sunday. A person could almost grow mold.
You really do love flowers, but I feel your plants are grown very restrainedly, with character, and you can tell you have taste.
