Reasons Why Violets Don't Bloom and How to Fix Them
1. Adjust the Temperature
1. Cause: Violets have relatively high temperature requirements and cannot stay in very low temperatures all the time, otherwise the flowers will be very difficult to open. Generally, keeping the temperature above 5 degrees makes it easier for them to bloom, and they may even open about two weeks early. If they don't bloom, this cause is fairly likely.
2. Solution: Place it in a place where the temperature is not low, but the temperature also cannot be particularly high - something like 20-something degrees won't work. The best method is to keep it in an environment of 5 to 15 degrees for three weeks, and then it will bloom in mid-to-late October.
2. Insufficient Light
1. Cause: The plant itself needs light to meet its own nutritional needs. If the plant gets no light, it is very difficult for it to grow well, and naturally very difficult for it to bloom.
2. Solution: Provide it with relatively plenty of light every day, preferably twelve hours a day. The best method is to place it in a spot near a window, so that it can receive light well; of course, you can also put it on a balcony. When there is no light, you can also place it under artificial light to encourage it to bloom.
