Feed your pothos a little sugar every week, and in summer it will climb all over the house, cooling it better than an air conditioner

Today is June 1st, Children's Day, and the summer solstice is just over half a month away. Temperatures are gradually rising, and other flowers are about to enter dormancy. But the pothos at home is growing merrily. In summer, the growth of pothos is not affected much; instead, it seems to grow more and more vigorously. Master these few tricks, and your pothos can climb all over the wall this summer, fresh and cool, better than turning on the air conditioner!
1. Summer temperatures are high, and with indoor air conditioning blowing nonstop, humidity is relatively low. In high temperature and low humidity, pothos gets thirsty more easily and needs more water. At such times, water once a week. Check the potting soil every 7 days; when it is almost dry again, keep watering. In this season, do not be stingy with water; just make sure there is no waterlogging.
2. The summer sun is fierce, so pothos cannot be placed on a south-facing windowsill. Too much sun will scorch it directly into a "yellow pothos." Move it beside an east- or west-facing window, where it basically gets only a little weak light every day. This way, it avoids the harsh sun while still receiving light, enhancing photosynthesis. Letting it sunbathe through the glass is relatively safe.
3. With only these two points, wanting it to cover a whole wall is far from enough. In summer, pothos is also a big eater, so nutrition must keep up. Some flower lovers might think of using rice-washing water or fish tank water. That is fine, but both of these smell too bad. Used indoors in summer, that smell can drive the whole family away.
I always choose to feed the pothos sugar. This sugar is rich in nutrients and has a faint sweet taste, but this sugar is not that sugar. This organic nutrient solution specially for pothos is fermented from sugarcane molasses as the raw material. It has zero hormones and is rich in humic acid, so plants absorb it better. It can also nourish the roots and prevent yellow leaves. Use it once a week, and it will grow vigorously after getting its fill.
4. After doing these 3 points well, there is still an advanced little trick, which is wiping the leaves of the pothos. After the pothos has been placed for a period of time, dust will inevitably stick to the leaves, and dust hinders respiration. At this time, dilute beer with water and wipe it on the leaves. This removes dust and can also increase the plant's photosynthesis, making the leaves so green they drip with oil.
Do these 4 points well, and the pothos can grow explosively in summer. If you keep a few pots of pothos at home, you will have a fresh summer, better than turning on the air conditioner! And it is green and environmentally friendly, using no electricity. Do you agree?
