The hollyhock, native to Sichuan, why can its summer flowers bloom brilliantly all across the country, is there some secret to it? Let's take a look together

First, it has extremely strong adaptability

Hollyhock is never picky about soil or region, and basically belongs to the type that sprouts wherever there is soil. By the roadside, along riverbanks, at the edges of fields, in front of and behind houses, in garden communities, you can basically see it everywhere. Summer rain is fairly frequent, sunlight is plentiful, and with its own superstrong adaptability, the bright figure of hollyhock can be seen everywhere.

Upright plant form, spectacular blooms

Hollyhock blooms are very beautiful, red, pink, yellow, white, purple, competing to open, layer upon layer, and when the wind blows, the flowers all over the plant sway gently with it, grand and natural.

The number of hollyhock blooms is enormous. Tall plants can reach 2 to 3 m, and short ones are still 1.5 to 1.6 m, with leaves growing from bottom to tip, and each leaf axil bearing anywhere from 1 to 3 flower buds, a truly astonishing number, with flowers all over the branches and the whole plant, drifting fragrance in the wind, what a spectacular sight.

Extremely simple to grow

Growing hollyhock is very simple. Each faded flower has a pod of seeds, and once these seeds mature they fall off naturally, and wherever they land they sprout and take root. No careful management, no fertilizing or pruning needed, and before long it will produce a thriving patch of hollyhock flowers on its own.

Growing it at home is the same, easy to keep and the flowers are beautiful too. As long as you like it, it will grow very well.

The low-key hollyhock, relying on its own extremely strong adaptability, and also its beautiful, grand flowers, blooms lavishly all across the country.

As long as there is space, you can bury a few seeds at home yourself, and your home will be full of blooming flowers too.
