2017 ADA 14th place work "Tornado"

Looking through the archives, I found last year's work by Uncle Tanaka, and it's a bit, ah, well, how should I put it, a bit abstract! It feels just like "Tornado," yeah, that's exactly the feeling!
Uncle Tanaka's 2015 work "Tracing the Source"
His 2016 work "Time"
This year's work
Old Wang tentatively calls this work "Tornado"
The tank is still the same old tank from last year's work
Dimensions: 120x45x45cm
This is the concept design sketch for setting up the tank,
Sure enough, just as I predicted
It really is quite "abstract"!
Getting ready to set up the tank
Continuing the substrate design from last year's work
The water absorption channel - Tanaka says this small design really works well!
Adding the five treasures for tank setup
Adding volcanic stone to the tank
Power sand
Separation mesh
Using "foot pads" for the sloped substrate?
Laying complete
Building the hardscape
The main material is Qinglong stone (black mountain stone)
Using glue to fix the stones
Should be using epoxy putty
PS: it's also called structural adhesive!
Main hardscape complete
The epoxy putty doesn't cure very fast
So using tape to help hold things in place
Hardscape
Plant distribution ratio
Laying aquarium soil
Monte Carlo (HC) and moss
Planting aquatic plants
Still choosing the dry-start method
Filling with water after it has mostly carpeted
Final adjustments to the hardscape
This stone piece on the upper side is very interesting
Complete
A master's tank isn't very different from everyone else's tanks
You also have to do the work of removing algae
ADA's new algae removal pen
(Feels not much different from a toothbrush!)
Finally laying the cosmetic sand
Adding fish
Final result
Tanaka and "Tornado"
Actually, this article with photos could be made very simple
Complete
It really could be written very simply, but Old Wang firmly believes that every tank setup process is an opportunity to learn!
But this tank, it really is a bit, ah... hmm.... abstract!
