Asparagus fern is very beautiful; this year I will grow two more pots to place in the living room and the study.

Asparagus fern, also known as cloud-leaf bamboo, is actually not a bamboo at all, but a perennial vine belonging to the genus Asparagus in the lily family.
Asparagus fern likes water, but too much water cannot be used. Too much moisture not only affects the respiration of the asparagus fern, but also causes its roots to rot, affecting growth and even leading to death.
For planting asparagus fern, the soil is mostly a fertile mixed soil made from leaf mold, garden soil, sand and manure in a 5:2:2:1 ratio (by volume). It is also required to be loose, fertile and well-draining, with the potting soil changed once every 2-3 years. During cultivation, the potting soil should be kept half dry and half moist.
Asparagus fern can be given mainly nitrogen fertilizer, mainly because asparagus fern is a foliage plant, and the role of nitrogen fertilizer is to nourish the leaves. Generally, high-proportion nitrogen fertilizer for foliage plants can be used.
