Grow Anubias this way: easy, hardy, no root rot, no yellow leaves

When growing Anubias, make sure there is plenty of light, and the water hardness must be high, otherwise its roots will rot. The substrate needs plenty of base fertilizer. It can be propagated by division, and you should also take care to prevent root rot; once root rot occurs, promptly identify the cause and adjust in time.
1. Growing environment
1. Light: It can still grow with weak light, but only with plenty of light will it grow more robustly.
2. Water quality: The water hardness must be high. If it grows in soft water without lime, its roots will rot. If you keep fish, do not keep too many, otherwise their waste will accumulate in the water, causing algae to grow and compete with the Anubias for nutrients.
3. Fertilizer: The substrate needs plenty of base fertilizer, and liquid fertilizer is also needed, because the roots of Anubias absorb 70% of nutrients, while the leaves account for only 30%.
4. Temperature: Make sure the growing temperature is suitable; in general, keeping it at around 22-30°C is enough.
2. Propagation method
Propagation by division: Break the stems and leaves off from its stem, keeping the roots at the base, plant them separately in aquarium pots, then press down with bottom sand. If you are worried about the roots rotting, you can soak it in a vitamin B12 solution for about ten minutes. In fact, as long as it has roots, it can survive.
3. Common causes of root rot
There are many causes of root rot: it is generally due to a change in water hardness, or lack of light, lack of fertilizer, etc. First identify the cause, then carry out targeted treatment, and adjust the growing conditions in time to ease the root rot.
