Add a little something to the water when watering pothos and asparagus fern, and they will grow like crazy, shooting up 20 meters
Mosquito coil ash
The weather is getting hotter and hotter now, and mosquitoes are starting to run rampant. Many friends have started burning mosquito coils to repel mosquitoes. However, do not throw away the burned mosquito coil ash. It is a very good fertilizer for growing flowers!
Mosquito coil ash + floral water
1. Prepare fully burned mosquito coil ash, floral water, and a bowl of clean water.
2. Pour the mosquito coil ash into the clean water, add a few drops of floral water, and mix well.
3. Pour it into a spray bottle and spray your flowers. It can repel the mosquitoes and insects attracted by the flowers!
Using mosquito coil ash as fertilizer
Mosquito coil ash is rich in potassium. Used as fertilizer for growing flowers, it can make flowers grow more robustly.
1. Evenly pour the mosquito coil ash powder onto the surface of the potting soil.
2. Use a sprayer to spray water onto the plant so the mosquito coil ash blends better with the potting soil. Do not use mosquito coil ash too frequently. Applying it about once a month is best, otherwise it easily causes soil salinization.
Rusty water
Now almost every household has idle iron nails. Soaking rusty iron nails in water to water flowers can improve the yellowing of flower leaves!
Soaking iron nails in water
1. Put the rusty iron nails into water and soak for one day.
2. Pour the soaked iron nail water into a spray bottle, put the iron nails in as well, and then spray the flowers.
3. If it is a hydroponic flower, you can directly drop a rusty iron nail into the hydroponic bottle.
Iron bucket + rainwater
If you have old rusty iron buckets or containers like iron pots at home, do not throw them away. These are simply magical tools for growing flowers!
1. On rainy days, put the rusty iron bucket (or another container) outdoors, or directly pour clean water into the iron bucket.
2. Leave the iron bucket filled with rainwater or clean water for 1-2 days, then use it to water flowers. The iron residue in the water does not need to be filtered out. Pouring it into the soil can better improve the soil's pH.
Fruit peels
Everyone eats fruit often. Throwing away the leftover peels is too troublesome. Use them to grow flowers and the flowers will bloom more brightly. It is simply killing two birds with one stone!
Soaking orange peels in water
1. Take a small amount of orange peels and soak them in clean water for at least 24 hours.
2. Filter the orange peel water and pour it into a sprayer to spray flowers. The sprayed flowers will be like they drank hormones and will grow more and more vigorously!
Making enzyme fertilizer from fruit peels
1. Cut the leftover fruit peels into small pieces and put them in a plastic bucket filled with clean water, then seal it.
2. Put the plastic bucket in a cool, ventilated place, and open the lid every 3-5 days to release gas.
3. After about 2-3 months, the enzyme fertilizer is finished. Filter the enzyme fertilizer and put it into bottles. About every 10 days, dilute it with water to water flowers. The fertilizer-to-water ratio is 1:100.
