Azalea, also known as yingshanhong, is an evergreen shrub with diverse flower colors, including red, light red, apricot red and many other shades, and is a common flowering ornamental variety. During care, yellowing leaves are often encountered, mainly caused by iron deficiency in azaleas.

Because azaleas are suited to growing in acidic soil, soil alkalization, especially when cared for in the north where water and soil tend to be alkaline, can very easily lead to iron-deficiency yellowing of leaves. This can be addressed by replacing the soil with a slightly acidic sandy soil rich in humus, loose, fertile, and with good drainage and aeration.

Vinegar can be diluted with water and sprayed on the leaves about every 10 days, sprayed continuously until the yellow leaves turn green. It is best to choose morning or evening for spraying.

Be careful to control the concentration ratio; too high a concentration will affect the normal growth of the plant. Regularly using vinegar to care for flowers can also effectively prevent and control azalea black spot disease.
