4 vegetables that come alive in water, the easiest way to grow vegetables at home, ready to serve in as little as 5 days

To grow vegetables at home we have to find soil, find flower pots, and sow seeds, and so on, which makes some gardening friends feel it is a bit of a hassle. In fact, there is a simple way to grow vegetables: just soak them in water so they root and grow leaves, and in only a few days they sprout leaves, a very simple method.
1. Onion
Onions are fairly large. Before growing them in water, cut off the fibrous roots at the top of the onion, then you can place the whole thing in a container filled with water. Within a few days white roots and green leaves will grow. However, before the roots form you must change the water every day; once the roots have grown, you only need to add water.
2. Garlic
A garlic bulb can be separated into individual cloves. For a nicer look you can peel off the skin and place them directly in a dish of clean water, with the water covering half the garlic or just the base. In about 7 days little green shoots will grow, and after a few more days you can eat fresh green garlic sprouts.
3. Sweet potato
Growing sweet potatoes in water is also very simple. Of course, we are not eating the sweet potato but the sweet potato leaves. We can first find a glass bottle or plastic bottle, add a little clean water, place one end of the sweet potato facing down and soak one third of it in the water. It roots in 3 days, and after a few more days the leaves begin to grow, then they grow like crazy.
4. Bean sprouts
Growing bean sprouts at home is also very simple, and the yield is large and the growth rate is fast. Mung beans, soybeans and others can all be used to grow them. First soak the beans in water for half a day, rinse them clean, then put them in a basket or basin and cover them with a layer of gauze. Spray water at any time to keep them moist, but do not let water accumulate. Keep them away from light, and by the next day they will have sprouted; in about 5 days they are ready to serve directly at the table.
Of the above 4 vegetables, apart from growing bean sprouts, which does not need light, the other 3 can be placed directly in sunlight. Of course, if your home does not have good light, it does not matter either; place them in a bright spot and they will still grow well. It is especially simple.
