Roses bloom vigorously all year round; with good care, they bloom continuously every month. But caring for roses is different every month and even more different every season, because the climates vary so greatly. Below, Huahua will explain the differences in the four-season watering methods for roses.

Spring: For potted roses, still follow the principle of not watering until dry, and watering thoroughly when you do. If roses are planted in the ground, water once after they emerge from the soil; normally you can skip watering, and during droughts water once every 10 days. After April, the climate is warm, and this is also the vigorous flowering period, so you must water more to keep the soil moist and not let the roots dry out.

Summer: The summer climate is relatively hot, and water in the potting soil evaporates heavily, so you must water more. Generally, water enough in one go in the evening. The south has a lot of rain, while the north has overcast and rainy weather; at these times the air humidity is relatively high, and water accumulating in the potting soil is not good for root absorption and can easily cause root rot. Therefore, during the rainy season in summer, be sure to remember to drain away waterlogging. At the same time, when temperatures are high, also pay attention to spraying water on the leaves to prevent water loss, and spray more water on the ground to lower the temperature.

Autumn: In autumn, the temperature gradually turns cooler, and water evaporation is relatively low. At this time, do not water too frequently; master the principle of not watering until dry and watering thoroughly when you do. In late autumn, also control the amount of watering well.

Winter: The winter weather is cold. Before November, water roses once; after November, watering once every half a month is enough. Soil that is too moist can easily damage the roots.
