Practical experience sharing on orchid cultivation and sales

Promote Chinese orchid culture, spread orchid knowledge

The sluggishness of orchid trading is partly related to buying and selling. Although sky-high-priced orchids have faded from people's sight, the factors behind the market's sluggishness are still worth pondering! The orchid market's peak needs buying and selling to drive it forward in trading.

In today's market trading, a small number of sellers, because prices have suddenly dropped from the former sky-high levels to today's sluggish market, still hold on to certain subjective reasons in their hearts, still feel that the famous orchids they grow are still worth a high price, and still want to sell for a good price. But have they stopped to think: apart from orchid speculators, how many people can actually afford to buy?

In order to attract some people to buy, they use a starting bid of 0 to draw in people who have just entered the orchid world. This in itself would be a good thing. If it could attract everyone to grow orchids, so that every household grows orchids, from ordinary orchid plants to rare and precious orchids, that would drive the orchid market to a peak and make the orchid market flourish sooner. But instead, they use enthusiastic starting bids to cool down the enthusiastic orchid growers, when those full-of-hope people go to bid on orchids.

And the sellers swap weak seedlings for strong ones and use fake bidding to drive up the price of their own lots, breaking faith with buyers. This makes the orchid market suffer even more, getting worse day by day, and makes those newcomers who are interested in growing orchids stop in their tracks.

Orchids are about cultivating a person's character. Whether selling or buying, both sides should trade fairly with integrity. Only then can orchids enter every household. And only then can the orchid market heat up sooner.
